Julia Ross (she/her/hers) is a pianist, music director, and composer. Born and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina, Julia couldn’t wait until she was big enough to join formal lessons so she first began piano lessons at the age 4 from her older brother who just started himself. After studying classical piano in elementary school, Julia fell in love with musical theatre in middle school. In high school, she was involved in community theatre productions as a performer and found a passion for music direction and composition along the way. She is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and received a Bachelor of Professional Music. She also works as a private vocal coach and with Imagination Stage (Bethesda, MD) as a teaching artist and Theatre for Young Audiences composer.
