She began her musical career studying piano under her grandmother\u2019s instruction, making her a fourth-generation musician in her family. She received a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Piano Performance from Towson University and her Master\u2019s degrees from Shenandoah University in Vocal Performance and Voice Pedagogy. Alina is an active teacher, music director at St. John Lutheran Church, collaborative pianist working with musicians and dancers, and she currently sings with the Bach in Baltimore Choir. Alina joined the Iris Music Project at the start of this spring season and is so grateful to be able to share music at her grandparents\u2019 community of Weinberg Village!
